Your data will not be shared with anyone else and we will only use it for the purposes of conducting business with you.
How long we retain your data
The information you provide when you get in contact with Dark Sky Pottery will be retained for the duration of our interaction with you.
For example, if we follow up with you and you decide that you do not wish to proceed with our services, then we will not store your details.
However, if we go on to provide you with services (such as provide you with pottery lessons) we will retain the information you have given to us for as long as it is necessary to provide those services. For information collected where a quote has been provided we will retain your information for a year. For information collected that has led to us performing work for you, we will retain the information you have provided to us indefinitely to allow us to offer any relevant aftercare services, or to enable us to provide you with a refund.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive a file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. We will make every effort to send this to you within a reasonable timescale, accounting for the details of the request itself, time of year and availability. For example, we will normally respond to requests within a month, but if we require extra time to complete the request, it may take up to three months.
We may charge a reasonable administration fee if we deem a request to be unfounded, excessive, or if we have already provided the data to a person previously.
You can also request that we erase any and all personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
